DE: Hey, was macht man mit den nagelneuen Sachen, die man leider noch nicht benutzen kann? Ich hab meinen Fuss letztens verletzt und kann gerade keine Schuhe mit Absätzen tragen. Aber die wunderschönen Stiefel, die ich diese Woche gekauft habe, sind zu schön, um im Karton auf mich zu warten. Deswegen hab ich mir überlegt, die zu befreien und daraus ein kleines Deko-Objekt zu basteln;)
ENG: Hey, what do you do with the brand-new things, which you can´t use at the moment? Because of my injured foot i can´t wear shoes with heels. But i bought these wonderful boots this week, and i think, they are too beautiful to wait for me in a carton box. That´s why i decided to release it and create a small decoration composition;)
DE: Das Bild mit Klammern habe ich vor ein paar Jahren in irgendeinem No Name Laden gekauft. Aber mittlerweile kann man so ein Stück entweder selber erstellen oder relativ günstig im Internet bestellen (z.B. bei yomonda). Außerdem habe ich neulich einen coolen Textil-Online-Shop entdeckt – Design-Textil.de – da kann man viel Interessantes finden, unter anderem – dieses Mini-Kissen in knalligem Gelb. Was Dekoration angeht, bin ich ein riesiger Fan von Schwarz-Weiß-Sachen. Aber die Kombination mit Gelb setzt richtig einen starken Kontrast. Gelb steht im Mittelpunkt und fällt überall auf. Und im Winter fehlt uns natürlich diese Knallfarbe – ein Stück Sonne muss man zumindest zuhause haben:) Jetzt werde ich hoffen, dass meine Katze diese Kreation nicht sofort kaputt macht und mindestens ein paar Tage so stehen lässt;)

But actually you can create such a piece by yourself or you can buy it online at a relatively low price (e.g. at yomonda). Also i discovered recently a cool textile online shop – Design-Textil.de – here i found a lot of interesting interior stuff, like this mini pillow in bright yellow. If it´s about decoration, i am a huge fan of black-and-white things. But the combination with yellow offers a strong contrast. Yellow takes center stage and attracts attention everywhere. And we miss this colorfulness in winter – we must have a small piece of sun at least at home:) Now i will hope, that my kitty won´t destroy my creation right away and ignore it at least for a few days;)
