lauscho on cruise: sea day

Bei fast jeder Schiffsreise gibt es mindestens einen Tag den man komplett auf See verbracht. Nach Korfu konnten wir uns also etwas vom City-Hopping erholen. Als wir morgens aufgewacht sind konnten wir schon aus den Fenstern sehen, das die Marina-Schwimmplatform runter gelassen war. Wir hatten doch tatsächlich die Möglichkeit Mitten in der Adria zu schwimmen.
Almost at every cruise, there is one day to be spent entirely at sea. After Corfu we were able to relax a bit from the city-hopping. When we woke up in the morning the Marina Simming Platform was let down. We actually had the opportunity to swim in the middle of the Adriatic Sea.
Einige Gäste munkelten, dass es auch Haie geben würde. Aber weder das, noch die 380 Meter Tiefe konnte mich davon abhalten ein paar Runden zu drehen. Nachmittags durften wir, mit entsprechender Absicherung, einen der vorderen Masten hochklettern und die Aussicht genießen. Vorher haben wir noch die Fotos im Klüver-Netzt, ganz vorne am Buk gemacht. Das Netz ist genau neben der Gallionsfigur, über dem Meer gespannt und bei voller Fahrt ist das ein unbeschreibliches Erlebnis. Einmal musste ich natürlich auch den Marine-Look tragen. Blau-Weiß gestreifter Longsleeve und weiße Shorts mit typischer Seemann's Sonnenbrille.
Some guests rumored that there would be sharks, but neither that nor the depth of 380 meters could discourage me to swim a little bit. In the afternoon we were allowed to climb up to one of the front towers and enjoy the view. Before that we took this photos at the Klüver-Net front of the ship. The net is stretched right next to the figurehead above the sea and in full flight it is an indescribable experience. Once a tim I had to wear the nautical look.
