The Epic von Kamasi Washington, wenn ihr mich fragt, der Kandidat für das Album des Jahres 2015, ist eine toll produziert, mit grandios guten Künstlern eingespielt worden und ganz große Kunst. Nun ist Kamasi Washington in diesem für ihn bereits sensationellen Jahr auch noch zum Soundtrack-Komponisten geworden. Ein Brillenhersteller veröffentlicht in diesem Jahr einen Film, der Titelsong steht bereits auf Soundcloud.
The latest in Ray Ban’s Never Hide Films series, “Color Guard” tells the story of a young girl (Clover Nee) who requests that her babysitting Uncle Jamie (Jamie Granato) tell her a bedtime story. Jamie’s improvised tale centers around a group of color-blind and joyless adults, including Clover’s father Roland (Scovel), who attend “Guru Tiki Royal’s Color Camp For Adults” in efforts to be cured of their ailments and add color to their world.
