I never understood K-Pop until now. Well, I don't really understand it but I'm obsessed with it.
It started a year ago after I've watched the REACT-Video on YouTube - I thought this was crazy ... and great. I started listening to it but ... kind of "lost touch".
After making a hilarious friend in college we've discovered a few weeks back that we're both liking K-Pop. Okay, I wrote "like" because this was just the first stage. It's like cancer (in a good way, no offense.). It infects you and you can't get it out of your head. EVER. AGAIN.
Seriously, South-Korea is crazy. The fashion, the songs, the really weird Reality-Shows (... okay, Reality-Shows are weird everywhere!) and the talk shows. Did you know that you'll be likely to get asked what blood type you are rather than your zodiac sign? ... Yeah, didn't know that either. Well, my very good friend is thinking about going to Korea for a few months to study abroad and she's googling the sh*t out of South-Korea and their culture (okay, she's studying sociology) and I'm listening to everything she found out.
And yap, I'm trying to infect you, too. Not with words but with the Videos of EXO and BTS.
In "our" music videos there isn't really any awesome dancing (... or you count "twerking" and "Wiggling your butt" as dancing. I don't.) and this is why K-Pop works that well. Oh, and the sound is infecting, too.
