...heute ist wieder Donnerstag......das heißt es RUMSt wieder...
Dazu ist es mein erster Rums und heute mit einer hübschen neuen Tasche.
Ich hatte mal wieder Lust auf eine neue Tasche und beim Pinterestschmachten ist mir diese schöne Tasche aufgefallen. Die wollte ich auch haben, also ebook "It's a Cinch Tote" von Lisa Lam von U-Handbag geholt, okay, wirklich nötig hatte ich die nicht, ich habe genug Taschen genäht, dass ich das eigentlich auch ohne Anleitung hinkrieg. Jedoch hatte ich einen Knoten im Hirn, wie denn das Schnittmuster dazu aussieht, nach ein wenig basteln habe ich aufgegeben und mich dann doch noch breitschlagen lassen und das Schnittmuster gekauft.
I was really lusting after a new bag and while pinterest-gawping I discovered this lovely rendition of a bag. I NEEDED this bag for myself, so I got the ebook - It's the "It's a Cinch" Tote by Lisa Lam of U-Handbag, yeah, right, I didn't really need the ebook, as I have made enough bags by now, that I know my way around them, so the detailed description wasn't really necessary, for me at least, but I couldn't seem to get my my brain to asemble to pattern on its own, and after a fruitless attempt at a pattern, I gave in and just bought the pattern.
Ohmann, es it wirklich ein ganz einfaches Schnittmuster, aber egal, ich habe meine Stoffe zugeschnitten, außen türkises Kunstleder und ganz tolles Papspelband, das ich vor zwei Jahren in Paris erstanden habe ;), innen Stoffe vom Stoffmarkt, die hier auch schon ewig rumliegen. Ich habe mich eher an meiner Pinterest-Inspiration orientiert und das Äußere nach dieser Tasche gestaltet und mich nicht an den Seitenreißverschlusstaschen gehalten. Die Anleitung ist an sich gut, nur muss man am Ende die Bilder zu den Beschreibungen suchen, aber alles ist ordentlich erklärt und die Tasche ist wirklich absolut für Anfänger geeignet.
Wenn nicht, wenn man nicht unbedingt Kunstleder verarbeiten möchte. Die Ecken waren wirklich die Hölle zu nähen, denn da treffen viele Lagen aufeinander und sie sind auch noch recht dick, daher sind mir auch sage und schreibe fünf 100er Nadeln beim Nähen gebrochen.
It really is one of the easiest patterns there are, but...not to digress, I cut my fabric, for the outside I used turquise faux leather (pleather?) and beautiful piping I bought in Paris two years ago. For the inside I used two fabrics I've also had for ages. I went with the appearance of my Pinterest inspiration and not with the ebooks version, so I left out the zippered pocket. The instructions are pretty precise and it is definitely a good project for beginners.
If... well, if you didn't use faux leather. It's tough to say the least. Sewing up the bag corners is really difficult, as there are several layers to go through, and believe it or not, I broke five 100s needles, sewing through all the layers.
Aber ich finde die Tasche ist es wirklich wert. Dass ich solche Mühe mit ihr hatte spricht nur für sie, nichts Gutes kommt ohne ein bisschen Arbeit, nicht wahr?
Man kann die Tasche natürlich auch größer machen und mit einem langen Schultergurt tragen, dann kann man auch mal einen größeren Einkauf tätigen, aber den Gurt müsste ich mir noch anfertigen.
I really think the bag is worth it though, even if it was a lot of work. But nothing good comes without a price, does it now?
You can even make the bag a bit bigger, if you undo the cinch straps and make it boxy, you could even carry it with a long shoulder strap, if you prefer, but I still have to make one for mine.
Bei diesem Bild kann man leider erkennen, dass ich die vorderen Taschen nicht auf der gleichen Höhe angebracht habe, ich hab leider nicht darauf geachtet.
In this picture you can see that I didn't match up the pockets, I just didn't think about it.
Die Seitenverbindung habe ich durch Ringe ein wenig länger gemacht, beim nächsten Nähen würde ich die Lasche länger machen, damit die Tasche nicht ganz so zusammengeknauscht wird.
I made the cinch loops a little longer by adding another ring, next time I would make the straps a little longer, so the bag isn't that cinched together.
Bei der Anzahl und Anfertigung der Innentasche bin ich ebenfalls meiner Vorliebe gefolgt und habe zwei "kleinere" und eine breitere Tasche reingenäht. Wie man im unteren Bild sieht, passt so mein Portemonnaie rein, zufällig passend da aus dem gleichen Stoff ;D, Handy, Kalender, extra Tasche Bonbons und was Frau sonst so braucht und nichts fliegt durcheinander, so dass ich nicht ewig in meiner Tasche rumkramen muss, bis ich das Richtige gefunden habe.
While preparing the inside pocket I again did not adhere to the original pattern, but went with my preference of having more and bigger pockets on the inside.In the last picture you can see that everything has it's place, purse in on pockets, mobile and calendar in another, and sweets and extra bag in the third, so I don't need ages to find what I'm looking for, as I usually do.
