D Es gibt so viele Filter im Handel, aber welche brauch man eigentlich und vor allem wofür? Diese Fragen habe ich mir früher oft gestellt, bis ich irgendwann die Antworten in Scott Kelbys Buch "Fotorezepte" und im Internet fand. Das alles zusammenzusuchen und zu recherchieren war allerdings etwas mühselig. Deshalb möchte ich euch heute erzählen, wofür man welchen Filter braucht. Ich besitze genau drei verschiedene Filter: UV-Filter, einen Polfilter und einen Graufilter. Und wofür ich diese verwende, möchte ich euch heute erzählen.E There are so many camera filters to buy, but which one do you really need and more over: for what do you need them? Well, I'm the owner of three different types of filters: UV filter, a polarizing filter and a grey filter. And today I want to tell you what use those filters have.
D Der UV Filter Dieser Filter ist so nutzlos wie sein Name, denn wofür muss ein Objektiv UV Licht filtern? Er verändert das Bild also 0,gar nicht und genau das ist was den Filter so sinnvoll macht: er ist ein grandioser Objektivschutz, der das Bild nicht verfälscht. So könnt ihr das vordere Glas am Objektiv vor Kratzern schützen und das zum kleinen Preis, denn hier müsst ihr wirklich nicht mehr ausgeben als ein paar Euro. Ich habe zwei UV Filter von Walinex und einen von Tamron, keiner davon hat mehr als 10€ gekostet. Und diese Teile können wirklich leben retten, ich habe es vorkurzem zum Beispiel geschafft mein Macro Objektiv vom Schreibtisch fallen zu lassen. Der Filter ist hinüber und total gesplittert, aber das Objektiv ist heile und das ist die Hauptsache oder?
E The UV Filter
This Filter is as useless as it's name, why should your lens drain UV light? Anyway the filter doesn't change your picture at all but now I will tell you what makes this filter so useful: it's a great protection for your lens. It protects the front glass of your lens against scratches and by the way those filters are pretty cheap. I have UV filters of two different brands: Walinex and Tamron, non of them was more expensive than 10€.
And I'm sure those filters can save lives: some time ago I managed to let my macro lens fall down my working desk. The filter is totally splinted, but the lens is still whole and that's the main thing isn't it?
D Der PolfilterHier lohnt es sich etwas mehr Geld auszugeben. Ich persönlich habe einen zirkulären Polfilter. Und wozu ist das gut?Er verhindert Spiegelungen z.B. in Glasscheiben oder metallischen Dingen. Außerdem erhöht er den Kontrast und lässt damit den Himmel blauer und allgemein Farben intensiver wirken. Der Filter von dem ich euch oben erzählt habe - jap jener der kaputt gegangen ist - war leider mein 60€ Polfilter. Aber nun gut, immer hin nicht das Objektiv über dieses hätte ich mehr geweint.
Mein Polfilter hat wie gesagt 60€ gekostet und ist von HOYA, bis er gesplittert ist hat er mir wirklich gute Dienste geleistet. Leider ist er allerdings sehr jung gestorben. Ich hab ihn immer für Macro- und Landschaftsbilder verwendet und war begeistert von den Ergebnissen.
E The polarizing filter
On this filter it's useful to spent a little bit more money. Personally I have a polarizing filter that you can twist. But what is it good for?
Polarizing filters prevent reflections for example in glass or metal things. Moreover it increases the contrast and makes the sky more blue and colors more intensive.
The filter that I told you, that saved the life of my macro lens: it sadly was my polarizing filter. It costed 60€ and was from the brand HOYA, till it splinted I was always really happy with it. And it had to die so young, but I would have cried more about my macro lens I think. I often used it for macro- and landscape photography.
D Der Graufilter (auch ND Filter)Dieser Filter verdunkelt Bilder und ermöglicht damit längere Verschlusszeiten. Viele Fotografen benutzen das z.B. wenn sie fließendes Wasser fotografieren, dieses wirkt dann schön seidig. Es gibt auch noch einen Grauverlaufsfilter bei diesem wird dann nicht alles verdunkelt sondern nur ein Teil des Bildes. Nützlich ist das zum Beispiel in der Landschaftsfotografie, wenn der Himmel sehr hell ist und der Rest eher dunkel.
Mein Graufilter ist ziemlich neu und ich konnte ihn daher erst einmal ausprobieren bisher, er ist von der Marke Neewer und war ziemlich billig. Sehen könnt ihr den im Moment einzigen Post in dem ich ihn benutzt habe hier.

This filter dims your pictures and so it enables longer shutter open times. For example many photographers use it to photograph fluent water, because than it looks nice and silky. You can also buy a grey grad filter, which dims just a pice of the picture. That's for example useful when you want to photograph a landscape and the sky is bright but the rest pretty dark.
My grey filter is pretty new so I could just test it once, it is from the brand Neewer and a pretty cheap one. You can visit the one and only post were I used it by now here.
D Andere FilterDie Welt der Filter ist groß, ich besitze aber wie gesagt nur UV-, Grau- und Polfilter, da ich die anderen nicht wirklich für notwendig halte. Andere Filter sind Beispielsweise: Der FLD- Filter (Floureszenz Filter) = Bekämpft grüne Farbstiche z.B. bei Innenaufnahmen.Dann gibt es noch jede Menge Fotofilter wie z.B. Schwarzweiß- und Warmfilter. Diese kann man aber finde ich durch Bildbearbeitung ganz einfach ersetzen und spart sich Geld. Außerdem gibt es noch Infrarotfilter, diese filtern alles Licht außer infrarotem Licht weg und somit entstehen surrealistische Bilder. Diesen fände ich noch interessant mal auszuprobieren, aber so recht sicher bin ich mir da noch nicht.

The world of filters is big, but like I already told you I'm only the owner the three filter types I showed you above because I don't consider the other ones necessary.
For example there are a lot of photographic screen, for example some that make your picture black and white or stuff like that. But I think you can easily replace them through image editing and save some money with it.
