From the owner of the remaining Karuizawa casks (One Drinks Company) stems this Hanyu single cask bottling at cask strength (57.3%). Distilled in 1991 and bottled after having received a finish in Japanese oak cask in 2009 left overall only 361 bottles for consumption, collection or for investment.  With the skyrising reputation of the One Drinks Company - due to their assets in Karuizawa liquids and its inherent selection/ blending process visible in their own bottlings - also other bottlings, such as this Hanyu are increasingly chased.18 years/ 57.3% Vol./ 70clNose: A lot of black fruits, dry and smooth with strong influence of figs, dates and nuts.
