The goal of the season might have been scored on Saturday afternoon at Old Trafford when Wayne Rooney scored with a brilliant over-head kick -> Video !).
But six goals at “The Hawthorns” also deserve five ***** ! Having been 0-3 down after the first 45 minutes, West Ham United fought back and in the end achieved a deserved 3-3 draw. New signing Demba Ba scored twice (in the absence of injured Robbie Keane) and helped the Hammers move away from the bottom of the table. Still it’s a very long way to go, and only four points out of possible nine from the last three games could prove too little for the Irons who are going to face Liverpool (only 1-1 against Wigan at home) in two weeks time.

PS: Ich vergesse nicht, dass Newcastle United letztes Wochenende ein möglicherweise noch sensationelleres Comeback geschafft hat – gegen Arsenal von 0:4 auf 4:4. Dieses Spiel fand allerdings zu Hause statt, während West Ham sich auswärts in unglaublicher Weise zurück kämpfte. Auch Newcastles 4:4 war natürlich eine *****performance!
