Third and final day for me at the ITB travel fair in Berlin with a meeting in the morning at Thai Airways, my favorite Asian airline for destinations from Bangkok. Fly Thai is for me also the meaning of great hospitality and service.
After flying the first time with Thai Airways in First from Frankfurt via Bangkok to Sydney and a few months later to Hong Kong, I enjoy this awesome service, starting in Frankfurt, till my final destination. So I was glad to get the offer for a meeting on the Thai Airways booth at the ITB fair and took a look on their “new” First Class Seat and learn more about the destinations.
Thai Airways offers for me as a Star-Alliance member a lot of advantages on destinations in Asia or Australia. Fantastic lounge and Spa at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, great connection to my Lufthansa flights and nearly unlimited destinations in Asia.
The new seat of the Airbus A380 from Frankfurt and Paris to Bangkok is really comfortable, enough space, Wifi, and great food and service. But also the comfort of business class is great, as well as the Economy Class is good with enough space, a good on demand audio/video system and also enough space on fair rates.
I will take a look on my next trips when I fly with Thai Airways and might combine two of my favorite things – Fashion and Travel – e.g. for the Bangkok Fashion Week… a little bit different than the Fashion shows in Milan, Paris or New York, but interesting to see the changes on a growing and fascinating city. And where to stay in Bangkok? That is easy… I already found three to four hotels I can recommend and new hotels will come up and I am glad to write my reviews about them.
Der dritte und letzte Tag meines Aufenthaltes auf der ITB Messe in Berlin begann mit einem Meeting bei Thai Airways, meinem bevorzugten Carrier für Ziele nach Bangkok und innerhalb Asiens. Thai Airways bedeutet für mich eine große Gastfreundschaft und einen tollen Service.
Nachdem ich das erste Mal mit Thai Airways in der First Class von Frankfurt via Bangkok nach Sydney, und ein paar Monate später nach Hong Kong geflogen bin, freue ich mich immer wieder auf den Service direkt ab Frankfurt. Daher habe ich mich natürlich über die Einladung von Thai Airways zur ITB Messe gefreut und auch den Blick auf den “neuen” First Class Sitz und die neuen Ziele.
Thai Airways bietet für mich als Star-Alliance Mitglied einige Vorteile an viele Endziele in Asien oder Australien. Eine fantastische Lounge und ein tolles Spa am Flughafen Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, tolle Anschlussverbindungen für meine Lufthansa Flüge und die schier endlosen Ziele in Asien. Ganz nebenbei sammelt man natürlich noch Meilen für das Lufthansa Miles & More Programm.
Der neue Sitz im A380 der Thai Airways von u.a. Frankfurt und Paris nach Bangkok ist wirklich sehr komfortabel, ausreichend Platz in der Kabine, Wifi, tolles Essen und sehr guter Service. Aber ebenso ist auch der Komfort in der neuen Business Class sehr angenehm, wie auch die Economy Class (Bericht: Economy Class Flug Singapur nach Bangkok) deutlich besser ist, als bei vielen Mitbewerbern. Ein Audio/Video on Demand System, genügend Platz und sehr gute Raten.
Ich werde auf einer meiner nächsten Reisen mit Thai Airways genauer über die verschiedenen Bereiche berichten und kann dann vielleicht auch zwei Punkte direkt kombinieren – Mode und Reise – z.B. für die Fashion Week in Bangkok. Ein wenig anders als die bekannten Modemessen in Mailand, Paris oder New York, aber sehr interessant, die Wechsel und besondere Kultur zu erleben. Eine aufstrebende, interessante und pulsierende Metropole. Wo ich in Bangkok übernachte?
