MBFW. Die Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin war für mich ein Grund ein Ticket zu buchen und zurück in die Heimatstadt zu düsen und das für zwei kurze Tage voller Mode, bunter Vögel und interessanter Looks. Mein Tag begann mit der Ankunft in Berlin um 6 Uhr morgens. Verschlafen und etwas gerädert von der Busfahrt ging es zu aller erst mal nach hause und es wurde sich frisch gemacht. Richtig angekommen gings dann ab zum Brandenburger Tor und zur ersten Show. Rebekka Ruetz zeigte im Zelt ihre neue Kollektion und es gab einiges zu sehen und auch zu hören. Besonders beeindruckend waren die Kopfbedeckungen, die einige Models trugen. Etwas irritierend war die Metall Musik zu den vor allem am Anfang fast lieblichen Kleidungsstücken. Von süßen, mädchenhaften Kleidern entwickelte sich die Kollektion zum Ende hin sogar zu einer Art Fetischmode. Ein bisschen Shades of Grey würde ich sagen nur in Sandfarben und Schwarz, dafür weniger grau. Der schönste Moment war allerdings, als die junge Designerin mit ihrer roten Mähne und Glitzerschuh über den Laufsteg hüpfte und wahnsinnig glücklich in die Menge lächelte. Dannach ging es erstmal zur Stärkung und dann sofort in den Zalando Showroom, der sich in der Brunnenstraße befindet. Dort konnten M und ich uns von den tollen Stücken der neuen Kollektion überzeugen und uns mit Detoxdrinks und lauter anderen gesunden Nascherein verführen lassen. Besonders gut fand ich die Home Kollektion und die süßen kleinen Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeiten und Kerzen. Alles in allem ein gelungener erster Tag der Fashion Week und heute gehts gleich weiter. MBFW. The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin City was a reason for me to pack my bags and get a ticket to my hometown for two short days, filled with fashion, weirdly beautiful people and all those fashionable things. My first day started with getting out of the bus at 6 am, totally knocked out from the 10 hour drive and a breakfast at home. I got ready and left for my very first show in the tent. I met M at Brandenburger Tor and we went straight in to see the show of Rebekka Ruetz. It was an interesting show with a lot of adorable looks, but I enjoyed the head pieces the most and the music was really odd. It was a kind of Heavy Metal music, that really got to me, not in a good way. It kind of didnt fit to the cute looks in the first part of the show and summed up when the last pieces came out on the runway, that reminded me of a fetish or 50 shades of grey, that were sand colored and black in this case. After the show we had something to eat and went straight ahead to the Zalando Showroom in Berlin Mitte/ Brunnenstraße. This was a really cute showroom, where we could have a closer look at all the new stuff of the spring/summer collection. I loved a lot of things, but was most amazed by these cute storage pieces from Zalando Home. We had a couple of Detox drinks and one or the other carrot and left the place detoxed and happy.
