D Was kam zuerst, die Henne oder das Ei?
Bei den meisten Fotografiebloggern ist es so, dass zuerst die Fotografie kam und dann das bloggen. Bei mir wollte es der Zufall andersrum. Früher habe ich einen anderen Blog namens "Die schönsten Romane werden erlebt, nicht geschrieben" geführt. Worum er ging? Wie so viele Blogs, hatte er eigentlich kein Thema. Er war wohl eher eine Art online Tagebuch für mich. Damit angefangen habe ich, weil eine damalige Freundin das auch gemacht hat und mich die Bloggerwelt irgendwie fasziniert hat. Sie hieß Fabienne und wir alle nannten sie Fabi. Daher hatte ich mal den Vorschlag gebracht, sie könne ihren Blog ja "be Fabilous" nennen, quasi als Wortspiel. Sie fand die Idee nicht besonders cool. Ich habe damals blauäugig angefangen ohne schönes Layout, einen Plan oder auch nur das Ziel, dass überhaupt Leute meinen Blog lesen könnten. Ich fand eher den Gedanken toll, irgendwann einmal älter zu sein und all die Dinge zu lesen, die ich auf den Blog geschrieben habe, mit Bildern und allem drum und dran. Ich habe auch außer dieser Freundin Fabienne niemanden von diesem Blog erzählt.
Irgendwann hatte dieser alte Blog einen Bug, ich konnte das Layout - selbst mit html - nicht mehr richtig verändern und keine Sidebar mehr machen. Also habe ich beschlossen einen neuen Blog zu machen - auch weil ich ein richtiges Thema haben wollte und ich mit dem Namen nicht mehr ganz zufrieden war, er war mir irgendwie zu lang und zu uneinprägsam. So habe ich das einstige Wortspiel aufgegriffen und da es so gar nicht zu meinem Namen passt "entwortspielt". So entstand der Name: "be fabulous" also übersetzt "fabelhaft sein".

Most of the photography bloggers started to photograph before they made a blog. In my case it was the other way around. Before this blog I had another one, were I didn't have real topic, it was more like an online diary for me. I started it because to that time a friend of mine had one too and I kind of liked the bloggerworld. Her name was Fabienne and we all called her Fabi. So my idea for her blogname was "be Fabilous" as a little wordplay, she didn't like the idea. I just started my blog pretty naive without a real layout or a plan why people should read my blog. Moreover I liked the idea, that when I'm old I can read the blog and see all the pictures and stuff. Besides my friend at that time Fabienne nobody knew about that blog.
Sometime my old blog had a bug, I couldn't change the layout - even with html - anymore and my Sidebar was gone. So I decided to create a new blog, also because I didn't like the name of the old blog and I wanted to have a real topic. I came back to the old wordplay and because my name isn't Fabi I canceled the wordplay and came to "be fabulous".
D So aber nun endlich zum eigentlichen Thema: Wie kam ich also zur Fotografie?
Von Anfang an habe ich einigen Fotografieblogs gefolgt und fand diese "Welt" immer total faszinierend. Mit Digitalkamera und Handy habe ich immer versucht selbst Fotos zu machen, aber diese konnten natürlich kaum mithalten mit dem was ich auf anderen Blogs sah. Knapp einen Monat nachdem ich be fabulous gegründet habe, habe ich also beschlossen in eine Spiegelreflexkamera zu investieren. Bereut habe ich diese Investition nie. Entschieden habe ich mich für die Canon Eos 1100d, welche ein toller Einstieg für mich war, aber langsam an ihre Grenzen kommt. Meine ersten Motive waren vor allem Pflanzen, für den Blog habe ich mich allerdings auch des öfteren mal fotografieren lassen, statt selbst zu fotografieren. Das alles ist nun schon drei Jahre her, verrückt wie die Zeit vergeht. Seit dem ist meine Kamerafamilie betrechtlich gewachsen und ich kann immer noch nicht genug von der Fotografie kriegen.
Manchmal schaue ich auf meinem Blog alte Posts an um meinen Fortschritt zu sehen. Auch wenn es mir nie so vorkommt als würde ich besser werden, rückblickend hat sich schon einiges geändert. Die Bilder die ihr in diesem Post seht gehören alle zu meinen ersten Bildern mit der neuen Kamera und stammen daher alle aus dem Januar 2013. Meine liebe Kamera hat vorletzten Monat Geburtstag gefeiert.
E But now to the real topic: How did I start to photograph?
At the beginning I read a lot of photography blogs and I found them really fascinating. With my digicam and phone I tried to make some photos by myself but they couldn't keep up with the ones I saw on the blogs. About a month after I found be fabulous I decided to by a DSLR camera and I never regretted this investment. So I bought the Canon Eos 1100d, which is for the beginning a pretty great camera but at the moment I would like to have a better one. My first motives were a lot of plants and also I asked some people to photograph me. The time is running so fast, all that stuff is now three years ago. My camera family got bigger since then and I never got enough of photography, I just love it.
Some times I look through old posts of this blog and I like to see the progress I made. It never felt like I'm really getting better but in retrospect a lot changed. All the photos in this post are some of the first I made, they are all from January 2013. My lovely camera celebrated it's birthday two months ago.
