Am kommenden Sonntag widmet sich das Jüdische Museum den ganzen Tag lang der aktuellen Wechselausstellung ALLES HAT SEINE ZEIT. RITUALE GEGEN DAS VERGESSEN. Um 11 Uhr führt die Wiener Kuratorin der Ausstellung Dr. Felicitas Heiman-Jelinek durch die Ausstellung.
Ab 13.30 Uhr wird die New Yorker Künstlerin Qintan Ana Wikswo mit ihrem Team drei Performances aufführen und im Anschluss daran wird es ein Künstlergespräch über ihre Arbeiten geben. Neben dem Projekt SONDERBAUTEN, das auch Teil der Ausstellung ist und sich mit dem ehemaligen KZ-Bordell in Dachau auseinandersetzt, zeigt sie noch zwei neue Werke: KLITZEKLEINE URNE und CHARITE. An dieser Stelle geben die Künstler selbst eine kurze Zusammenfassung über ihre Arbeit und danken allen Mitwirkenden:
From New York City and Los Angeles, the three artists of FIELDSHIFT / FURTHER present new transdisciplinary performance works that combine poetry, film, dance, and music. In conjunction with the exhibition “ALLES HAT SEINE ZEIT: RITUALE GEGEN DAS VERGESSEN” at the Jüdisches Museum, three new works explore the experience of the Jewish female body in Germany, during and in the decades after Nationalsozialismus and the Schoa. With poetry and film by Quintan Ana Wikswo, movement by Alexx Shilling and Kontrabass by Arthur Kell. In English and German (translations of Wikswo’s poetry into German by Uljana Wolf).
These new works have been created through an artist residency at Pasinger Fabrik.
