Dyed Shoes

 Und noch ein Schuh Makeover ist fertig. Vor Jahren habe ich mal die Gola Curve Schuhe entdeckt und micht sofort in die froschgrünen Schuhe verliebt. Es gab sie damlas sogar in meiner Größe und sind auch sehr bequem. Aber zu meinem Leidwesen werden diese Schuhe nicht mehr produziert, jedenfalls finde ich sie nicht mehr. Es ist leider wirklich schwierig für mich, Schuhe in einer schönen Farbe zu finden, denn ich trage Männergrößen und Männerschuhe werden nur in wenigen schönen Farben hergestellt. Doch nach einem weiteren Blogfund wo ich diese tolle Anleitung zum Schuhefärben gefunden habe, musste, ja musste ich das auch ausprobieren. Man braucht einfach nur Batikfarbe, einen großen Topf und Baumwollschuhe. Wie die Schuhe vorher aussahen, sieht man unten. Die Farbe, die die Schuhe jetzt haben, ist einfach nur genial!!
And another shoe makeover is finished. Years ago I discovered these super nice Gola Curve Shoes and fell straight in love with the bright green shoes. They even had them in my size at that time and they are also very comfortable. But much to my chagrin they don't seem to make them anymore or at least I can't find them. It is really difficult to find nice and pretty shoes in my size in a colour I like, as I have to wear men sizes, and men shoes aren't usually made in pretty colours. But after another blog find where I found this great tutorial for dyeing shoes I had to, hat to try this out. You just need tie-dye, a big pot and cotton shoes. If you want to see the shoes before dyeing, look beneath. The colour they are now is just brilliant.
