Sailor Moon bald auf DVD? Die Heimvideorechte endlich eingekauft?

Das Onlinemagazin Otaku Times fragte bei KSM nach ob die nicht als Publisher für deutsche Sailor Moon DVDs in Frage kämen. Die Antwort der Pressesprecherin Charlotte Young folgte prompt und lautete so:
UPDATE: Laut SailorMoonGerman können Universum Anime und Anime House ausgeschlossen werden.
Trotzdem können wir uns nun darüber freuen dass die Serie überhaupt endlich veröffentlicht wird. Viele hatten schon nicht mehr dran geglaubt. Nun da ihr informiert seid, fangt besser schonmal an zu sparen. Bei 200 Episoden kommen einige DVDs zusammen. Die solltet ihr euch nicht entgehen lassen.
Die letzte Möglichkeit die Serie auszugsweise zu kaufen waren diese Videos in den 90ern.The last time the German series could be bought was in the 90s - random episodes on video tapes.

The online magazine Otaku Times (German only) asked publisher KSM if they might be interested in releasing the series on DVD. Their press officer Charlotte Young had a simple answer that sounds very promising:

Nevertheless we can be happy to know that the series is finally going to get published in Germany. Believe me, this was a long struggle, there was too much going on. Many people felt like we should better get used to the fact that the German anime market isn't successful enough to ever bring the series to us.
If you are able to buy Sailor Moon on DVD in your language just do it. Support your favourite show and take advantage of a flourishing anime market - because that can be so rare in other countries.
