Deadlicious

Lieferheld (a German delivery service). Actually, I do not know what it is exactly, since the idea to have a delivery service for everything is rather odd. If I want to order Pizza, I call the pizzaria. And I did not miss this service back then when it was not possible. And maybe it is not decisive. There would have been another ending for Romeo and Juliet if mobiles had existed at that time, although nobody missed them. Now, I have never grabbed the telephone, but I thought about it and came to the decision that I hoped to be mistaken. The advertisement is different, but certainly not good. At the beginning you see a priest in prison doing… well, what a priest does. In front of him there is prisoner sitting at a table. I do not no why, but my first impression was the „last meal“. The prisoner orders pizza via Internet and the Lieferheld service man bursts through the prison wall… The prisoner looks at the hole in the wall, shrugs his shoulders and goes on eating… Why can you not leave it at that that the prisoner could break out now, but does not want to, this would at least be funny, at least for those who think that breaking out of prison is funny.

 

But who finds a last meal funny? It precedes the execution and by no later than that nothing is funny at all. Thank god that this trend has not splashed over from America to us. Well actually, we had that before, but then we advanced. And the USA remained somewhere in the a tooth for a tooth time. Maybe the Americans should take us as an example and not vice versa. But for a directional change you need the capability to reorientate and the consciousness to go in the wrong direction. Well, the system has not yet grown up and despite its big steps that it has taken, there is still a long way to go.

A pizza as a metaphor of the time in which the world was still a plate? I dare doubting that this was the intention. And if it were so, it would still have been flat. I can hardly imagine that there were some other things to be criticized. I would have liked to have finished the text by „oh god, I hope I was wrong“. But during the research for this text I had to look at the advertisement again on the internet. And what a crying, crying shame, in defiance of all hopes, my first impression turned out to be true. In a longer version it is even clearer. After this tastelessness I will surely not call in lieferheld.de, but my tastefulness of pizza has not died out and doing it by myself is still the most tasteful way.
