Ich bin (fast) fertig. Das Quilttop habe ich dann doch am Sonntagvormittag noch fertiggestellt. Ich konnte es einfach nicht lassen. Und ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Am liebsten würde ich es selbst behalten. Ich habe meiner Freundin einen Tischläufer genäht: (Das Bild ist auf ihrem Tisch aufgenommen - ich hab ein gutes Augenmaß, oder?)

Vier LogCabin Blocks mit einem Apfeldruck in der Mitte. Jetzt fehlt nur noch die Rückseite, ich bin mir noch nicht sicher, ob ich dort einfarbig (welche Farbe?) oder mit unterschiedlich breiten Streifen arbeiten sollte? Und ob ich den Tischläufer am Schluß noch quilten sollte und wenn ja, wie. Gibt es irgendwelche Erfahrungen?

I'm (almost) done. I have finished the quilt top on Sunday morning, I just couldn't let it rest. I am very content with my first try at patchwork. I would love to keep it myself, unfortunately (or luckily) I have given it away already. At least symbolically. I made this table runner for my friend. Oh, by the way: The picture was taken whilst sitting on her table.
Four log cabin blocks with an apple print as center square. The backing is still missing, I am not sure whether to use a single color or take different stripes? And should I quilt the runner in the end? And if so, how? Are there any experience quilters out there?

Ja, diesen Tischläufer *schmacht* hab ich Ende März 2008 an meine Freundin Katharina verschenkt. Er ist immer noch in Benutzung und immer noch so schön wie damals. *schulterklopf*
