Cute and Dinky Trinkets

 Ich habe diese herrlichen Janoschstempel gefunden. Der Frosch hat es mir besonders angetan und als ich im Rausch der Shrinky Dinks war, habe ich ein Paar Ohrringe für mich gebastelt. Das geht recht einfach, man muss den Stempel auf einen großen Shrinky Dink-Kreis stempeln, dann habe ich noch meinen Frosch mit Buntstiften grün angemalt und schrumpfen lassen. Damit die Oberfläche versiegelt wird, habe ich Embossingpulver auf die bestempelte Seite gestreut und im Ofen erhitzt. Das ergibt eine schöne, glatte, leicht gewölbte und glänzende Oberfläche. Selbstverständlich geht das auch mit jedem anderen Stempel.Diese Ohrringe sind ausschließlich für mich ;) denn so habe ich ein einzigartiges Erinnerungsstück von einem meiner Lieblingsautoren aus meiner Kindheit. 
I recently discovered this lovely Janosch stamp. I am especially taken by the frog and as I was still thrilled with my discovery of shrinky dinks I made some earrings for myself. It is pretty easy to make these, you just have to stamp the frog on to a round piece of shrinky dinks, then I coloured the frog green and let it shrink. The seal the surface I used embossing powder and heated it up in the oven. This creates a lovely smooth shiny and slightly convex surface. Of course you can make these earrings with any other stamp. These earrings are exclusively for me ;) for now I have a unique keepsake from one of my favourite authors from my childhood.
