Continuing the Owl Trend: and another wallet

  Ich fand, dass meine Mutter auch ein neues Portemonnaie gebrauchen könnte, schließlich hat sie ihr altes nun schon fast ein Jahr benutzt, das ist ja fast schon undenkbar, ein Jahr, tztz. Erstaunlicherweise hat sie sich dieses Modell ausgesucht, ich hatte drei auf einmal produziert, weil ich einfach Lust hatte. Dieses Modell, was ja eigentlich total meinem Geschmack entspricht, heißt: grün, grellbunt, Pünktchen und Eule, sie dagegen mag eher Paisley und Liberty-Stoffe, demure, I would call it. Aber, so dräng ich ihr, peu a peu, langsam meinen Geschmack auf, hah, ich bin Borg, ihr werdet assimiliert werden, Widerstand ist zwecklos!!!Stickerei ist wieder jolijou's Pimpicuffs Eule und Schnitt ist Machwerk's Geldbeutel. 
I reckoned that my mother was in dire need of a new wallet, indeed, had she not carried her old one around for nearly a year now, a year, I tell you, tztz.  Suprisingly, she choose this of three I had produced, which caters more to my taste and not to hers, which lies more around liberty fabric and paisley, while mine is green, brightly coloured, polka dots and owls. Demure, i would call her taste, mine loud and bright. But, in this way I am slowly but surely taking over her taste, as one of my former favourite tv series used to say: I am Borg, Your culture will adapt to service us.
