Mark E Teems ("The Walking Dead")
Zombies haben es nicht leicht. Vor allem in der Erfolgsserie "The Walking Dead" sehen sie sich regelmäßig und schmerzhaft mit Äxten, Pistolen und anderen Gegenständen konfrontiert. Leider sind die Auftritte der Untoten daher in der Regel von sehr kurzer (Lebens)dauer.Wir haben uns in dieser Woche mit einem Mann unterhalten, der sich bestens damit auskennt, als Zombie für "The Walking Dead" vor der Kamera zu stehen.
Mark E Teems war in der zweiten Staffel der Kultserie zu sehen und hat uns verraten, wie lange es dauert, maskentechnisch "zombiefiziert" zu werden, wie seine ultimativen Tipps für eine Zombieapokalypse aussehen, was sein Lieblingshorrorfilm ist und ob er einen Lieblingscharakter in der Serie hat.

Conny: "How did you get the chance to participate at TWD? Did you have to go through a casting or something like that?"
Mark E Teems: " I was in the Atlanta paper for losing 140 lbs. I was contacted by Extras Casting Atlanta about appearing on TWD."
Conny: "How would you describe the atmosphere on the set?"
Mark E Teems: "Exciting, and exhausting."

Conny: "You were a part of season 2. Are you still watching TWD and would you like to play a zombie again?"Mark E Teems: " I am still watching TWD. I would love to be on the set again."
Conny: "Have you got a favorite character in the series?"
Mark E Teems: "Shane was my favorite character."
Conny: "How long does it take to look like a zombie?"
Mark E Teems: "I was in makeup for 1 hour. It took 45 min to remove."
Conny: "What is your special tip to survive a zombie apocalypse?"
Mark E Teems: "Move to a mountainous area and stay well stocked with food, ammo, and fuel."
Conny: "Do you like horror movies? Which one is your favorite? The new ones or the classics like "Friday 13th" and so on...?"
Mark E Teems: "My favorite is the original „Dawn of the Dead“."
Conny: "You wrote on facebook, that you love conventions. Which convention do you like most?"
Mark E Teems: " I’ve only worked at 3 conventions. Atlanta South Comic Conventions are my favorite."
Conny: "You love travelling. What was your most interesting destination?"
Mark E Teems: "Berlin, Munich, and Berchtesgaden. The „Eagles Nest“ was very interesting."
Conny: "Is it right, that you lost 140lbs? What's the secret and how did it work?"
Mark E Teems: " I was on the 11 day diet program. I also walked on average 10 miles per day."
Conny: "What are your plans for 2015?"
Mark E Teems: "Stay healthy. I would love to do a convention in Germany..."
