Starting with the tag #mexicowithcondor sounds interesting. That was, what I was thinking, when reading the invitation by Condor Airlines and the Mexican Embassy in Berlin for an event on the second day of the ITB-Berlin 2013.
Condor the oldest German charter airline, bringing you to a lot of destinations worldwide (e.g. many European destinations, Maldives Seychelles, Thailand, USA, Caribic, South America and also to Mexico)

For me, it was the perfect timing, as starting with the preparations for my Fashion and Travel Calendar 2014, Mexico sounds interesting. The combination of historic places, wonderful culture, friendly people, great food, amazing beaches and botanical paradises everywhere. So I had to go there and it was really interesting and also great to meet all the other bloggers (from backpackers to family-bloggers, from fresh launched blogs, to blogs with 7 years experience)
Getting all the information in advance, meeting point was 11.45 outside the ITB fair and started with a 20 minute drive to the Mexican Embassy (Klingelhöferstraße 3, 10785 Berlin). After a very warm welcome from the staff of the embassy and a personal greeting from the Mexican Ambassador Mr. Francisco N. González Díaz. We learnt immediately the meaning of “Mi casa e su casa”. “My home is your home” – a prepared buffet with delicious mexican food ready for our journey with a Condor flight to Mexico

When you look on the pictures below, you will understand the fascination of Mexico. The three places on our journey on the East Coast (Campeche, Riviera Maya, Yucatan) offer a huge variety for sport, beach and culture. We saw great moments during our trip of #mexicowithcondor.
I was not thinking about going to Mexico this year, but it sounds so interesting and all possibilites you have, it might be the right place for a new fashion and travel calendar 2014 – after the shootings in the desert of Nevada last year.

For me, I will have to start thinking about the right places to go and a big advantage is that all spots are within a 500km radius. So every day a new spot and every day a new hotel. The airline for a direct flight from Frankfurt to Cancun is simple – “Condor” – now checking for possible dates and possible hotels (e.g. by Thomas Cook) .
Thank you so much for this awesome event to Condor and the Mexican Embassy in Berlin and the great hospitality. “Muchas gracias” … see you in Mexico…

Eine Email mit dem Betreff “#mexicowithcondor” klingt interessant. Das war das erste, was ich dachte, als ich die Einladung von Condor Airlines und der Mexikanischen Botschaft in Berlin für ein Event am zweiten Tag der ITB-Messe in Berlin 2013 erhalten habe.
Condor als älteste deutsche Charter Airline bringt Touristen bekanntermaßen zu vielen interessanten Urlaubszielen weltweit (z.b. innerhalb Europas, Malediven, Seychellen, Thailand, USA, Karibik, Südamerika und auch nach Mexiko)
Für mich war das Event das perfekte Timing, da ich bereits wieder mit den Planungen für den Mode und Reise Kalender 2014 begonnen habe und Mexiko klingt einfach interessant. Die Kombination von historischen Plätzen, wunderbarer Kultur, freundlichen Menschen, tollem Essen, wundervolle Strände und traumhafte Natur und Botanik – klingt nach einem Paradies. Daher war das Datum für mich sofort reserviert und vor allem auch sehr schön, die unterschiedlichsten Blogger zu treffen (vom Rucksackblogger zum Familienblogger, vom Newcomer bis hin zu Bloggern mit vielen Jahren Erfahrung) – eine bunt gemischte Gesellschaft.
Nachdem man bereits einige Informationen im Vorfeld erhalten hat, auf zum Treffpunkt um 11.45 Uhr vor dem ITB Messebereich. Nach 20 minütiger Fahrt und Eintreffen an der Mexikanischen Botschaft in Berlin (Klingelhöferstraße 3, 10785 Berlin) konnte das Event starten. Nach einem warmen willkommen durch das Botschaftspersonal und der persönlichen Begrüßung durch den mexikanischen Botschafter Herrn Franciso N. González Díaz, lernten wir die Bedeutung von “Mi casa e su casa” – “Mein Haus ist auch Ihr Haus” kennen – ein sehr schönes und leckeres Buffet mit mexikanischem Essen, bereit für die Reise mit Condor nach Mexiko. 
Wenn Ihr euch die Fotos anseht, werdet Ihr auch die Faszination von Mexiko erleben. Die drei Regionen die wir auf unserer “Reise” an der Ostküste (Campeche, Riviera Maya, Yucatan) besuchten, bieten eine große Auswahl an Sport, Stränden und vor allem auch Kultur und Natur. Tolle Momente und Eindrücke während der Tour #mexicowithcondor.
Ich hatte eigentlich nicht über eine Reise nach Mexiko für dieses Jahr nachgedacht, aber es klingt alles so interessant und bietet viele Möglichkeiten. Daher könnte es der Ort für den nächsten Mode und Reisekalender 2014 werden – nach den Bildern aus der Wüste im letzten Jahr.
Für mich beginnt nun das Nachdenken über die richtigen Plätze und der große Vorteil an der Region Riviera Maya, Campeche und Yucatan ist die Entfernung von nur 500km. Daher wird es dann jeden Tag einen neuen Spot und ein neues Hotel geben. Hin- und zurück mit einem Nonstop Flug von Frankfurt nach Cancun mit “Condor” – nun heißt es Daten und mögliche Termine raussuchen und evtl. ein Hotel bei Thomas Cook buchen.
