Was mir auf dieser Fashion Week wirklich auf dem Laufsteg gefehlt hat, war Farbe. Die meisten Kollektionen waren gedeckt und wenig bunt. Aber Hallo!? Es ist Sommer, die Color-Blocking Saison schlechthin. Genau das dachte ich mir auch am letzten Tag der Fashion Week, als ich mir mein Outfit zusammenstellte. Um ein Zeichen für mehr Farbe im Frühling/Sommer 2014 zu setzen, wählte ich eine hellblaue Hose in Kombination mit einem Hemd in Altrosa. Anhand der Reaktionen der Leute konnte ich sehen, dass es ihnen genau so ging wie mir, als ich dieses Outfit auswählte.
What I really missed this season on the runway during Fashion Week Berlin were colors. Most of the collections were dominated by subdued colors and were hardly colorful. It’s summer, the color-blocking season. Let’s spice up the color palette! That’s what I thought when I picked my outfit for the last day of Fashion Week. To set a sign for more color for 2014 I combined bright blue trousers with a dusky pink shirt by A Fish Named Fred.
