Der Winter ist lang und kalt und dunkel und passend dazu sind fast alle Jacken und Mäntel, die man hier findet, dunkel, grau, schwarz. LANGWEILIG!! Ich brauchte auch mal wieder eine neue warme Jacke, mit Betonung auf warm, denn ich bin eine Frostbeule und die graue Jacke war runtergesetzt und soooo langweilig ist sie nun auch nicht. Siehe unten das Vorherbild.
The winter is cold and long and dark and accordingly all the coats and jackets you can find are also dark and grey and black. BORING!!! I was in need of a new warm jacket, with emphasis on warm, as I feel the cold, e.g. I usually wear 2 pairs of tights, socks, trousers, 2 tops under a jumper and I still have cold feet and hands, what the heck?? Well, the jacket was on sale and it's not that boring, so I bought it. Yo can see the before picture below.
Aber etwas Farbe konnte sie schon vertragen und so hatte ich mich entschieden, die Knöpfe auszuwechseln. Ich kam auf die Idee stoffüberzogene Knöpfe zu nehmen, denn so habe ich viele verschiedene bunte Knöpfe an meiner Jacke und so hat Eintönigkeit keine Chance.But the jacket did at least need some colour, so I decided to exchange the buttons for fabric covered buttons and made each button with a different fabric. That way I have got lots of colourful buttons and no monotony can arise.
