BEAUTY SECRETS – 3 x BOBBI BROWN.

Today I want to share with you some new beauty producuts that have been in constant use since I first got them! I’m not a big fan of lotion and cremes and it took me ages to use hydrating creme on my face every single morning. As you can guess now I never use liquid make-up on my face due to the heavy sticky feeling I get from it. Most of the BB cremes give me the same feeling. I just hate when my skin feels like it can’t breath enough!
A few months ago while attending the Vogue Festival in London, I was introduced to the foundation stick by Bobbi Brown. Basically, the stick works like a concealer for those parts of your face that need a little touch up. The brush blends it perfectly with the skin you don’t want to be covered – it’s a perfect match if you have to deal with partly redness (e.g. around the nose)!
I love my beauty sleep. I would rather leave the house without any makeup at all (hello, all you super early flights & trains!) than wake up early to get my make-up done. As soon as something takes too long, I will stop using it. I just can’t be bothered anymore then. It’s quite some dilemma you find yourself in if you don’t like spending your time on your make-up but still want to have the perfect look. My dilemma came to an instant end when I got to know the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Eye Shadow stick exists. It’s my favorite piece in my make-up bag and I’m thinking about getting another color as well! It’s as simple as a pen: open cap, apply to your eyes, close cap. Ready! And it stays all.day.long.
Heute möchte ich euch drei meiner neuen Lieblinge in Sachen Beauty vorstellen, die seitdem ich sie besitze in ständig in Gebrauch sind! Ich bin wirklich kein Fan von Cremes oder Lotions und es hat Jahre gedauert, mich an die tägliche Anwendung von Gesichtcreme zu gewöhnen. Ihr könnt euch also denken, dass ich dementsprechend auch kein Fan von flüssigem Make-up bin. Ich kann es nicht leiden, wenn ich das Gefühl habe, meine Haut könnte nicht genug atmen. Als ich vor einigen Monaten auf dem Vogue Festival hier in London war, habe ich zum ersten Mal von dem Foundation Stick von Bobbi Brown erfahren. Er funktioniert in etwa wie ein Concealer für all die Stellen, die man gerne etwas „abdecken“ möchte, wie zum Beispiel rote Stellen um die Nase. Der Pinsel eignet sich dann perfekt zum Verblenden, damit der Unterschied zwischen den geschminkten und ungeschminkten Partien nicht zu sehen ist.
Ich liebe meinen Schönheitsschlaf und würde niemals auf ihn verzichten, um dafür mehr Zeit für meine tägliche Make-up Routine zu haben. Ganz im Gegenteil ich würde sogar lieber ungeschminkt das Haus verlassen – natürlich nur in den schlimmsten Notfällen. Aber sobald ein Produkt für mich zu unhandlich und langwierig in der Anwendung wird, verliere ich das Interesse gänzlich und benutze es nie wieder. Daher ist der Long-Wear Creme-Eyeshadow-Stift von Bobbi Brown die perfekte Lösung das länger Schlafen und den perfekten Look unter einen Hut zu bringen. Mittlerweile ist der Stift mein liebstes Beautyprodukt und ich überlege noch eine weitere Farbe zu kaufen. Das ganze funktioniert so leicht wie ein Stift: Kappe abnehmen, auftragen, Kappe draufsetzen. Fertig! Und das Beste: es hält den GANZEN Tag.
