BEAUTY SECRET x FRANKFURT – WELCOME AESOP!

Breaking news from my hometown Frankfurt – for all you beauty-lovers and travelers, there is a new kid on the block: Aesop opened it’s first store in Frankfurt. Probably, we all like shopping online including shopping for cosmetics. Especially with products that are part of daily routiner, ordering online comes in very handy. I love my thermal water by Avène – I never go a summer without that fresh breeze out of the spray can – and I always order it at Europa Apotheek.
However, as I get older my skin needs change and if I’m trying out a new product I like to get some advice and consultation what is best for my skin from a professional. I’m allergic against one ingredient that is in almost all lotions, so I’ve started to look for different products that are free from artificial scents. Aesop uses a mix of natural plants and laboratory generated ingredients. I was able to test the products for a few weeks now and I’m blown away. As I told you before, I don’t like lotions at all and the products from Aesop are rich yet not sticky. The only thing that was a bit tough to get used to in the beginning was the very „pharmaceutical“ scent. So my dearest, you happen to be in Frankfurt plan a trip to the new Aesop Boutique. From the first pictures I saw, Aesop and the Philipp Mainzer Office for Architecture and Design made quite an amazing job!
Es gibt mal wieder Neuigkeiten aus meiner Heimatstadt Frankfurt am Main – denn es hat ein neuer Shop für alle Beautyliebhaber eröffnet: Aesop ist jetzt endlich in Frankfurt erhältlich. Wie sicherlich viele von euch auch, bestelle ich auch immer mehr Kosmetikprodukte online. Gerade bei Produkte, die man schon häufig verwendet hat oder die zur täglichen Routine gehören, ist das super praktisch. Mein Thermalwasser von Avène bestelle ich zum Beispiel immer bei der Europa Apotheek, denn ich überstehe keinen Sommer ohne den Frischekick aus der Dose!
Allerdings ändert sich die Haut mit dem Älterwerden, so auch meine und ich suche dann doch gerne Beratung vor Ort. Vor allem bei Produkte, die ich zuvor noch nie verwendet habe. Da ich gegen einen Wirkstoff, der in vielen fettigen Cremes enthalten ist, allergisch bin, neige ich immer mehr dazu, natürliche Produkte, die frei von Duftstoffen und möglichst natürlich hergestellt sind. Aesop verwendet eine Mischung aus natürlichen Stoffen und welchen, die aus dem Labor stammen. Ich habe die Produkte nun einige Wochen testen können und bin richtig begeistert. Hier habe ich euch ja bereits erzählt, dass ich Cremes normalerweise gar nicht mag. Dennoch haben mich beide Produkte von Aesop haben mich überzeugt, da sie trotz ihrer reichhaltigen Konsistenz nicht kleben oder sich schwer auf der Haut anfühlen. Das wirklich einzige, woran ich mich anfänglich gewöhnen musste, war der doch relativ starke „medizinische“ Duft.
Also meine Lieben, wenn ihr das nächste Mal in Frankfurt seid schaut unbedingt am Kaiserplatz in die neue Boutique von Aesop rein. Ich werde bei meinem nächsten Heimatbesuch sicherlich auch vorbeischauen, denn den ersten Bildern nach zu urteilen ist Aesop und dem Philipp Mainzer Office for Architecture and Design ein Glanzstück gelungen!
