Just a little reminder. Facing the 2011 polls don’t forget about Tri Angle‘s prodigy BALAM ACAB. The 20-year-old Pennsylvanian Alec Koone is definitely the reason for his label’s 2011 triumph. He was the first artist to come out of Tri Angle more than one year ago with his EP See Birds. He totally fits to the haunting dubby sounds and hailing vocals of his labelmates like oOoOO and How To Dress Well, but he is certainly more inspired by classical works like Bach’s cello suites. Koone himself stated: „It’s also an album that should be listened to loudly“ and the heavy beats definitely confirm that.
