Wie Ashraf Ismail von Ubisoft jetzt allerdings in einem Interview verraten hat,steht schon seit einiger Zeit fest: Das Ende von Assassin’s Creed wurde bereits geschrieben.
“The brand team that sits on top and is filled with writers and designers concerned with the series’ overall arc. So there is an overall arc, and each iteration has its place inside this, […] We have an idea of where the end is, what the end is.”
Allerdings wird es noch eine Weile dauern, bis das Ende auch wirklich kommt, denn derzeit hat man noch konkreten Pläne, darauf hinzuarbeiten. Bis es soweit ist, gibt es noch viele Möglichkeiten, die Geschichte weiter zu treiben, so Ismail.
“We’re now able to seed stuff earlier and earlier in our games. So for example in Assassin’s Creed 4 we have Edward, who was seeded in Assassin’s Creed 3. But there’s a lot more stuff in our game that is hinting at other possibilities.”
Zudem gab es ja auch eine Umfrage,in welcher die Fans ihren Wunschort für den kommenden Assassin’s Creed nennen durften.Also ist mal wieder abwarten angesagt…
