Von der ArtRoom Community der TUHH habe ich euch bereits bei meiner Fotoexkursion nach Travemünde erzählt und bei deren Ausstellung wurde mir nun die Ehre zu teil, dass ich auch ein Bild beisteuern durfte. Die Ausstellung steht unter dem Namen "The Reality of our Dreams" und ich habe mich nach langem hin und her überlegen für mein Macro-Schmetterlingsbild entschieden. Diesem habe ich den Titel "Dreaming of Nature in Harmony" gegeben, denn es verkörpert für mich eine unglaubliche Ruhe und den Einklang mit der Natur.
E Today I want to show you another photography exhibition, but this one isn't just a exhibition, for me it's something really special: the first exhibition where one of my pictures is exhibited.
I already told you about the ArtRoom Community by TUHH when I wrote about my photo excursion to Travemünde. Now they are doing a exhibition with the motto "The Reality of our Dreams" and I could chip in one of my pictures. I decided to choose my macro-butterfly picture and gave it the title "Dreaming of Nature in Harmony", because of me it represents a great silence and harmony with nature.
D Letzten Freitag war die Eröffnung der Ausstellung, ich muss zugeben ich war vorher schon etwas aufgeregt und vor allem gespannt. Die Galerie besteht aus zwei Räumen und ist relativ klein, es haben aber trotzdem Bilder von allen Leuten, die mitmachen wollten ihren Platz gefunden. Ihr könnt dort natürlich nicht nur mein Bild sehen, sondern auch noch die Werke vieler anderer junger Fotografen und Künstler. Ja richtig, es handelt sich auch nicht um eine reine Fotografieausstellung, es ist also für jeden etwas dabei. Einer der beiden Räume ist der Fotografie gewidmet, der andere auch der Malerei und was es sonst noch so an Kunstrichtungen gibt. Insgesamt ist eine schöne Mischung zustande gekommen und ich fand es auch sehr interessant, weil das Thema "The Reality of our Dreams" so viel Interpretationsfreiraum lässt.
Natürlich seit ihr alle herzlich eingeladen euch die Ausstellung anzuschauen, sie geht noch bis zum 21. Juli und findet in der "Alles wird schön Galerie" in der Friedrich-Naumann Straße 27 in Hamburg, Heimfeld statt. Ich weiß, das ist relativ weit draußen, aber es lohnt sich definitiv und sowohl ich als auch alle anderen die mitmachen freuen uns natürlich über jeden der vorbeikommt und sich unsere Werke anschaut.
E Last Friday the exhibition opened for the first time, I was a little bit nervous but mostly excited and happy. The gallery is pretty small and just has two rooms, but it was enough space that everyone could exhibit one of his photos. Of course there is not only my picture, but also the works of many other young photographers and artists. It's not a pure photography exhibition: One of the two rooms is only photography and in the other one you can marvel at paintings and other kinds of art. Altogether I think it's a great mixture of art and I like that the motto "The Reality of our Dreams" gives so much room for different interpretations.
You are all invited to visit the exhibition by yourself, it goes until 21. July and takes place in the "Alles wird schön" gallery in the Friedrich-Naumann Straße 27 in Hamburg, Heimfeld. I know that's a little bit outside Hamburg, but it's definitely worth it and both me and all the others are happy about everyone visiting the exhibition.
