Angel With A Leadfoot

Immer wenn ich denke, keine weißen Lacke mehr zu besitzen, taucht irgendwo einer auf. Praktisch, wenn man eine weiße Basis braucht oder wenn wie heute die Lacke in Farbe… und bunt! bei Lena von Lenas Sofa die Farbe Weiß haben sollen.

Angel With A Leadfoot (OPI, Ford Mustang). Farbe & Finish: Weiß mit Creme-Finish, das von OPI als ‘celestial’, also himmlisch beschrieben wird. Abgesehen davon ist es ganz einfach weiß. Auftrag: Befriedigend. Die Textur ist etwas pastig, die Deckkraft befriedigend und die Trockenzeit gut. Die erste Schicht wird sehr streifig, die zweite besser und die dritte deckt dann leidlich. Optimal ist das nicht, aber guter Durchschnitt. Preis/Leistung: Befriedigend. Ebenfalls in der Kollaboration mit Ford Mustang und damit auch in dem dazugehörigen Miniaturset, dem Pony Pack, gab es diesen Lack im Sommer 2014. Mein Set habe ich mir bei einem irischen Versandhändler über Amazon bestellt und so knapp 15 Euro für je 3,75 ml Race Red, 50 Years Of Style, Girls Love Ponies und Angel With A Leadfoot bezahlt.

Für die Fotos habe ich noch eine vierte Schicht Angel With A Leadfoot aufgetragen, die ich später mit einer Schicht Top Coat (OPI) überzogen habe. Anschließend habe ich Striping Tape platziert, die Lücken mit 4 In The Morning (OPI, Gwen Stefani) und French Quarter For Your Thoughts (OPI, Touring America) gefüllt. Danach habe ich das Striping Tape entfernt, neues aufgeklebt und alles mit zwei Schichten Top Coat versiegelt. Dieses wunderschöne Elegant Squares-Design stammt ursprünglich von Sophie von My Awesome Beauty, das von Judith von Spektor’s Nails schon einmal in dieser weiß-grauen Farbkombination gezeigt wurde.

This week’s colour for Lacke in Farbe… und bunt! hosted by Lena from Lenas Sofa is white and fortunately, the Pony Pack included Angel With A Leadfoot (OPI, Ford Mustang). This plain white with creme finish was part of the collaboration of OPI with Ford Mustang and is described as ‘celestial’. Nevertheless, it is just an usual white polish, a little bit viscous, still easy to apply, streaky after the first two coats and reasonably opaque after three. I used four coats to be on the safe side and added one coat of Top Coat (OPI) after the first two pictures. Afterwards, I placed striping tape, brushed on 4 In The Morning (OPI, Gwen Stefani) and French Quarter For Your Thoughts (OPI, Touring America), replaced the striping tape and sealed the design with two coats of Top Coat. This design is not new, of course. I copied both Sophie from My Awesome Beauty, who ‘invented’ these Elegant Squares, as well as Judith from Spektor’s Nails, who has already shown this gorgeous monochrome colour combination.
