Nach seinem gefeierten Debütalbum Monologue, in dem es um Liebe, Bestimmung und Familie ging und dem darauffolgenden #Dialogue, einem Konzeptalbum über Wirtschaft, Rassentrennung und Rassenpolitik, geht es in #Epilogue um Gefühle gegenüber sich selbst und das Liebesleben in 3 Akten - HIS, HERS and OURS.
#Epilogue is about seeking healing and resolution with yourself after heartbreak. It's the only way to move forward in a healthy manner and find the true love we all long for in the future.
I wrote this album because too often we move on to the next relationship without working on ourselves; creating a vicious cycle where we continuously walk in relationships unprepared to do our part to create a love that will last."

Auch wenn es thematisch ein wieder herausragendes Album geworden ist, spricht mit#Epilogue musikalisch nicht an, ohne genau sagen zu können, an was es genau liegt.
#Epilogue wird leider kein Album des Jahres, im Gegensatz zu seinen beiden Vorgängern. Schade!
