63 Länder im Rennen um den Oscar als Bester fremdsprachiger Film

Wie die Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences letzte Nacht bekannt gegeben hat, haben nun insgesamt 63 Länder ihre Filmvorschläge für die Kategorie “Best Foreign Language Film” (zu deutsch bester fremdsprachiger Film) eingereicht.

Zum ersten Mal mit dabei ist ein Beitrag aus Neuseeland. Deutschland schickt mit “Pina” einen Wim Wenders Film ins Rennen und erhofft sich damit gute Chance auf einen Sieg bei der 84. Oscar-Verleihung.

Die finalen Oscarnominierungen werden am 24.02.2012 in Los Angeles im Samual Goldwyn Theater bekannt gegeben. Am 26.02.2012 folgt dann die große Zeremonie der Oscar Verleihung 2012 wie gehabt im Kodak Theatre.
