The 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards took over Atlanta's Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre back in September. Hosted by DJ Khaled, the eleventh annual show made its network premiere on Tuesday (Oct. 4), and started off with a bang. ATL's own Gucci Mane, showing off his new slim physique, kicked off the show with his Mike WiLL Made-It produced single "First Day Out Tha Feds." The set soon turned into a medley as Travi$ Scott joined GuWop for "Last Time" before being joined by Young Thug and Quavo for "Pick Up the Phone."
DJ Khaled, T.I., Big K.R.I.T., Lil' Uzi Vert, Isaiah Rashad, 21 Savage, Desiigner, Lil' Yachty, D.R.A.M., Dae Dae, and Young M.A. also took to the stage during this year's award show, while Snoop Dogg was honored with the "I Am Hip-Hop" Icon Award presented by Kendrick Lamar.
