We have a friend who was so lucky to be one of the first passengers on board of the new Boeing Dreamliner 787 from Japanese airline ANA All Nippon Airways. He is in Tokyo right now and just send us these pictures! Time for a special edition of Reisefreunde! (Besides, whe will bring us some Tokyo Bananas, he promised!) The aircraft will set completely new standards in aviation. As a passenger you will enjoy a better view outside as it's windows are 30% bigger than those you know from usual aircraft. Also the cabin is wider; the baggage compartments offer larger space. The plane is - due to the new material used in construction- able to support higher cabin-pressure levels than on traditional planes. For passengers this supposedly means a higher comfort. Also, the new Dreamliner will help to save the airline up to 20 percent fuel. Unusual for Reisefreunde, but as we got hold of these pictures, we wanted to make sure you'll get a closer view to this new and pretty bird;
