Andere Kameras kann ich schwer beurteilen, vor allem wenn man nur technische Daten hat und diese noch nie in der Hand gehalten hat. Heute habe ich daher Clemens vom Blog fobo.at gebeten, uns seine Kamera, die Nikon D5100
, vorzustellen. Clemens ist ein Hobbyfotograf, der leidenschaftlich gerne unterwegs ist und Fotos von allem möglich schießt. Diese bearbeitet er am Laptop mit Opensource Programmen unter Linux nach.

Bei der Nikon D5100 handelt sich um ein älteres Modell, denn Nikon hat diese Kamera schon 2011 auf den Markt gebracht. Doch bis jetzt war sie ihr Geld wert. Die Kamera bietet so ziemlich alles, was für den Anfang erforderlich ist und den Benutzer nicht überfordert. Es sind die wichtigsten Funktionen für die Aufnahmen vorhanden, wie Manuelle Belichtung, Zeitautomatik, Blendenautomatik und Programmautomatik. Im Weiteren sind spezielle Programme für Makro, Bewegung, Sonnenuntergänge und so weiter vorhanden. Diese sind, wenn man wenig Ahnung hat auch sehr vorteilhaft.
Ich habe in den 2 3/4 Jahren, seit die Kamera in meinem Besitz ist einiges an Zubehör dazu gekauft. Ein zweites Objektiv wurde anfänglich notwendig, da ich mit dem Kit Objektiv Nikkor AF-S 18-55mm alleine auf Dauer nicht glücklich war. Das zweite Objektiv ist ein Nikkor AF-S 55-200mm und dadurch kann ich so ziemlich alles abdecken, was ich fotografieren möchte. Die Palette reicht dabei von Makro bis Panorama. Außerdem habe ich mir anfänglich einen zweiten Akku dazu gekauft. Dies ist auf jeden Fall vorteilhaft, wenn man mehr fotografiert und auf Nummer Sicher gehen möchte. Ein spezielles Zubehörteil ist der IR Fernauslöser. Dieser hat sich schon mehrfach bezahlt gemacht. Ich nutze es für Auslösungen am Stativ und im Freien. Aber auch bei Gruppenfotos, auf denen ich drauf sein soll ist es praktisch. Bei dem Fernauslöser handelt es sich um ein kleines Gerät, ähnlich einer Mini-Fernbedienung, um von kurzer Distanz die Kamera auslösen zu können.
Ein besonderes Highlight der Nikon D5100 ist der klapp- und schwenkbare Monitor. Mit diesem kann man sogar Selfies machen. Das finde ich persönlich recht cool. Aber auch für Aufnahmen, wo die Kamera aufliegen muss ist dies vorteilhaft.

The Nikon D5100 is an older model, because Nikon launched this model already in 2011. Until now the camera was worth it's money. The camera provides everything which is necessary to start with digital photography. It does not overstrain the user. The main functionality is available. This includes manual exposure, time exposure, aperture exposure and program exposure. Furthermore some special programs for macros, movement, sunsets and so on are available. These features are very helpful, just in case for beginners.
I bought the camera 2 3/4 years ago. In this time I bought also some additional equipment for my camera. A second objective became necessary, because the kit objective Nikkor AF-S 18-55mm alone didn't make me lucky. The second objective is a Nikkor AF-S 55-200mm and with it I can cover almost everything I want to shoot. The palette ranges from macro picture to panoramic pictures. One of the best investments was a second battery. This is a big advantage if you want to take more pictures and to be sure you have enough battery left. Another additional equipment is the IR remote control. This helps me in order to take pictures on a tripod or outside. But it's also useful for taking group pictures on which I’m necessary. You can imagine this IR remote control as a very tiny remove control with small button on it.
A special on the Nikon D5100 is the moveable monitor. With this it is also possible to take selfies. What's a really nice feature. Furthermore it is also an advantage in case that the camera has to stand on a wall.

Für Leute, die in die Welt der digitalen Fotografie einsteigen wollen und mehr als eine kompakte Kamera bevorzugen ist die Nikon D5100 oder ihre Nachfolger empfehlenswert. Die Kamera ist in mehreren Kit-Varianten erhältlich und deckt somit eine Vielzahl von Anforderungen ab. Auch der eingebaute Blitz ermöglicht es ohne zusätzlichen Aufwand gute Aufnahmen in schlechter beleuchteten Umgebungen durchführen zu können. Zu guter Letzt, die Bilder sind bisher sehr gut geworden. Man kann im RAW und im JPEG Format aufnehmen."
